FOMO Alert: SlimHoods

At the end of 2021, we did a review of Invisible Friends NFT which is part of the Random Character Collective — along with Slimhoods and Moodrollers. At the time of the article, Slimhoods was hovering around a floor price of .5 eth.

We asked the questions: Will the continued popularity of the Random Character Collective and the launch of the Invisible Friends positively affect the price of Slimhoods and Moodrollers? And will the owners of Slimhoods and Moodrollers gain any benefits — perhaps gaining access or advantage to the Invisible Friend’s Whitelist? These questions remain to be seen.

Well, it didn’t take long. Four days later, on January 3, Invisible Friends announced a point system for their whitelist. Get four points and you’ve got a spot. One way to get points is to buy a Slimhoods or Moodrollers. Bam. Bam. Bam.

Let’s just say that both NFTs took off, selling over 1500 (combined) on the 3rd. By the 8th of January, floor prices were around 1.5 ETH. If you read our article and bought before the 3rd, you could have flipped a Slimhood or a Moodroller for north of three grand.

Yes, 3 f*cking grand.

Man, the market moves fast, doesn’t it?
